How to Register with NSA to become an Official:
If you are NEW to NSA or BPA, we recommend you contact the UIC you will be working with prior to beginning the registration process.
1. Umpires must fill out a registration form at www.PlayNSA.com - see link on left
a. Please select the UIC for the PROGRAM you will MAINLY be working with.
b. Returning Umpires using the RENEWAL process of sanctioning - PLEASE make sure
to REVIEW & UPDATE your information!
c. Make sure your EMAIL is CORRECT! - This is very important !
2. Pay for the Registration fee - Your Choice - By Check or By Charge
3. Once the office has received your payment, they will approve your registration and
your number will be EMAILED to you.
4. You will now be able to work NSA Sanctioned events and purchase NSA Merchandise
from the National Office.
Only your local and state NSA-BPA UIC/Zone and National Office will have access to your contact information. Other UIC’s and Directors will be able to verify your online registration, BUT will only
be able to attain your contact info by requesting it from your local or state NSA-BPA UIC.
The same rules and regulations/procedures will apply for umpires traveling out of
the area or state to work as in prior years.

TO PAY BY CHARGE:
1. You MUST also fill out the Umpire Registration Form to be assigned a current years number!
2. Make sure to use the address where the credit card statement is mailed.
3. Continue the check out process until the screen says your card has been APPROVED and you receive an order number. This is when the system sends us an email you have paid.
The address you enter when paying by a charge has to match where the credit card statement is mailed. If the address does not match, the card will be declined.
The CVV or THREE DIGIT NUMBER or SECURITY CODE ( from the back of the card) you entered does not match what your credit/debit card company has on file.
Some charge and debit cards have a DAILY LIMIT on the amount that can be put on a card.
If you are using a debit card, sometimes deposits are not immediately available for use - please contact your bank.
If you have double checked the above items, please contact your credit card company.
Umpire Clinics and Meetings:
NSA National Convention - The NSA National Convention is held every year either the last week in October or the first week in November. All Umpires are invited and encouraged to attend. Current information is always available at www.Playnsa.com
NSA Northern Zone Conference - The NSA Northern Zone Conference is held every OTHER year, usually the end of January, or the first two weeks of February. All Umpires are invited and encouraged to attend. Updates will be posted on the main page of www.NSANorth.com when available.
Michigan NSA Clinics - Michigan NSA has been holding two different dates for clinics.
The first date is usually in December that coincides with the Michigan NSA Hall of Fame Induction and Awards Banquet. The second clinic is usually held in March.
