World Series Kick-Off is 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM at Crown Points Sportsplex
All teams and spectators are welcome to join us to kick-off the NSA World Series week with the skills competition! The event is packed with team/individual skills (coaches too), DJ, Pin Trading, vendors and more - Including NSA World Series Apparel and Diamond Sport Gear with merchandise including NSA Bat and Glove specials. Please note that most teams will conduct their pin trading during the skills competition.
Crown Point has TURF FIELDS on #4 - #5 - #7 - #8 - #9 - #10. This includes fields we will be using for the skills competition. NO METAL CLEATS on TURF FIELDS!

Parade of Teams: Parade Staging will be 4:30-5:15 PM Parade will begin at 5:30 PM
Check back for a map of DROP OFF and Parking in the area. NO NEED TO RUSH: Your team will parade in the order you get in line during the staging. Age Groups do NOT need to be together. Multiple age groups from one organization CAN parade together if you all get in line at the same time.
Parade Details: Our goal is for the players to be comfortable and have fun!
There is no theme for the parade. Some teams will come in matching team shirts and shorts, some funny hairdos, face paint, big hats, tutus, and some teams go all out and wear full costumes. Use your imagination. Team banners CAN be carried in the parade. Please - NO CANDY.
In 2023 we had 123 teams participate in the parade. It took 35 mins from start to finish. Teams will parade, then on stage will be announced & have a picture taken.
Vendors, Food Trucks, Beer Garden, DJ, Free Activities - photo booth and more! Announcement of the Skills Winners and Scholarship Recipients.
Diamond Sport Gear will be on site with World Series specials on Bats, Gloves & More and NSA World Series Apparel will be available

For FIELDS & AGE GROUP ASSIGNMENTS - TBD
ALL TEAMS MUST QUALIFY (receive a berth) for the B or C NSA World Series and VALIDATE the berth through your State Director. Many State Directors also have an At-Large system to award left over berths so your team can plan early to attend the NSA Worlds.These teams are required to participate in their State Championships to VALIDATE their Berth unless they receive a berth at an NIT.
The Open World Series Divisions are available for ALL TEAMS. If you have been unable to receive or validate a berth - Contact Your State Director for details on playing in the OPEN Division!
NSA Northern World Series events will include all age groups together. EVEN AGES 8u, 10u, 12u, 14u, 16u & 18u and ODD AGES 9u, 11u & 13u will play at the same event.
NSA World Series Eligibility for ODD Age Group Teams
These are the rules for the NWI NSA World Series, it does not matter what rules your State may have played under. The Odd Age groups play under the even age group playing rules, EXCEPT Roster Rules.
The following will be used to determine approved rosters for the ODD AGE GROUP World Series. Each ODD Age Division will be made up of players from the following Age Division / Birth Years
9u Division - 2015 (or younger - based on the rules in the NSA rule book)
11u Division - 2013 (or younger - based on the rules in the NSA rule book)
13u Division - 2011 (or younger - based on the rules in the NSA rule book)
If a team has a few OLDER players on it, the team can still enter the ODD Age Group World Series, but those OLDER player(s) will NOT be ELIGIBLE to participate in the ODD Age Group World Series Tournament. If a team is found to have an OVERAGE PLAYER (player not meeting the above criteria) participating at the ODD Age World Series, they will be immediately removed from the tournament without refund of entry/gate or reimbursement of hotel/travel expenses.
In certain circumstances an EVEN age team will be allowed to play UP into an ODD age division, but only if the Players meet the NSA roster rules for playing UP an age division. Please Contact Us to verify if your team will meet the criteria before entering in a higher age group.
